This project involved taking a real world item and turning it into a 3D model so that the construction and design features could be demonstrated.Shoe fading leather effect upper to reveal inner lining

Being able to fade the outer skin and present the image clearly was impossible to do with - even for a sophisticated photographic studio.
Here the rest of the shoe's upper fades to reveal the layering and construction of the insole. From this model we were able to reduce the model and compress the textures to enable us to create an interactive web version which can be seen demonstrated under the 'Web 3d' section.
