With our engineering/product design background, we can readily understand and interpret complex designs, difficult to understand engineering or scientific principles, CAD data or engineering drawings to ensure you receive an uncompromised level of service.

We have worked from 'back of a napkin' sketches right through to fully integrated CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Unigraphics based CAD systems.

3D visualisation works when photography doesn't. We can visualise the impossible.

Using state of the art animation software VISUALS-3D is capable of producing motion graphics of designs and 3D data which allow full exploration of 3D models, and to create huge visual impact and understanding. Sometimes the camera can't show what really needs to be shown, or the motion may be too intricate to show in static images. Some things are just not possible to create and demonstrate in the real world.

Our mechanical design background allows us to easily understand and visualise motion and to 'rig' our models as realistically as possible. From the flight control linkages of a helicopter through to low polygon computer game characters, over the years we have been asked to undertake wide and varied types of work.

One of the misconceptions about 3D animation is that is expensive to produce. Although this is somewhat true in a number of cases we find that we need to remind people that modeling and setting the scene up is usually the most time consuming part of the job. Simple animation (such as camera sweeps etc.) can work out to be only a small percentage to the extra cost. Providing there is time allowed for the production of the the animation (as it usually requires lengthy processing times) it would always be worthwhile to consider the value added to a project or presentation.

Using both visualisation and solid modeling CAD packages VISUALS-3D can produce most types of model to suit your desired market area. Whether this be intermediate solid modeling for rapid prototyping, 3D poly mesh asset building for design agencies or certain types of low-poly rigged game models. One service we do not provide at this time however, is 2D draughting work.

Although VISUALS 3D main role is in the field of visualisation of others' designs, we do however have a wealth of experience, ability and creativity, and are happy to 'fill in the gaps' in your designs or ideas should this be required while working on a project. Design fees may be applicable to a project depending on the level of input required, again this is based against the amount of information that can be provided at the outset of the project.

As with most computer generated imagery, at some time or other it will be required in some kind of multi-media environment. Although we specialise in 3D image creation we have a broad knowledge of the different types of multimedia formats, applications and delivery methods available.
